Urgent Call to Action

What is the urgency?

This unreasonable and absolutely unnecessary legislation has been burrowing it’s way through our legislative process for several years in various forms, the most recent of which is a proposed bill known as the “Marketplace Fairness Act”.  At the coaxing of several retail giants and cash-strapped state governments, the bill easily passed the Senate.  Though this bill has stalled for the most part in the House of Representatives, this has been a very close call.  Indeed, a close call for small business, a close call for the everyday consumer and a close call for the US economy.  Thankfully, as of 2017, we now have business-friendly administration that is very likely to veto economy-crushing legislation such as this.

However, this legislation has emerged several times in recent history, and most experts say it will again.  Next time we might not be so fortunate.  Next time it may not stop in the House of Representatives.  Lets do our part to make sure our elected officials know how we feel so there isn’t a “next time”.  Help us build a permanent presence here that says unequivocally, “We do not support such legislation.  We will never support such legislation.  And we will never elect supporters of this legislation.  Period.”

  • Voice Your Opinions on our Forum (and check back often)

We will submit the contents of the “Tell Congress How You Feel” forum once every month to Congress – forever – or until we are assured such ridiculous legislation will not be considered.  Please be as professional as possible.  No vulgar, profane, threatening or otherwise rash language will be tolerated.  Violators will be banned from the forum.

  • Make a Small Donation to the Cause - invest in your future!

We will use your donations for advertising of this website and this cause to spread the word to as many people as possible.  Donations will also be used to cover costs of our web hosting and other expenses.  Make an investment in our future and our children’s future!

  • Donate Your Time to the Cause

We can use the help!  We are especially looking for lawyers, accountants and business analysts who share our view and would be willing to help with the cause.
